League: Eastern Colored League
History: The formerly independent Bacharach Giants (named after Atlantic City mayor Ed Bacharach) were a founding member of the Eastern Colored League, at the time a rival to the first Negro National League. The Bacharachs won consecutive ECL pennants in 1926 and 1927, but lost to the Chicago American Giants both times in the Negro Leagues World Series.
