History: The original Cuban Stars were organized as a traveling team in 1907 by Abel Linares and Tinti Molina, although this team was based in the New York area, playing under various nicknames. By 1916 it had moved to the Midwest and a new Cuban Stars (East) team was founded by Alex Pompez. The original Cuban Stars team then became known as Cuban Stars (West). This is an 8-panel cap with contrasting sewn eyelets and soft visor.
